Day 10

10:06am: Housemates are back in bed. Dixie is speaking in her sleep and about 5 people are awake now talking about it quite loudly and they finally get her awake so she stops. She says that she has to put up with David most nights.

Terri is in the backyard and has cleaned up. She comes to the bedroom eventually and a few people think about getting back up. Renee comes to the diary room. She says she is freaking out about Sunday. She wonders whether she’ll get any votes to save her, her mother having already said she isn’t going to vote.

A little later, Dixie and Alice are in the kitchen. Alice says that she will have a huge workout tomorrow. Dixie was about to put a knife in the toaster but Alice was able to get the muffin out in time.

Bianca is still going on about how she has no time for Corey. Terri says she doesn’t either after yesterday. Saxon and Corey are having a competition while hand standing. Meanwhile, Rebecca tells a few girls on the couch that she wants to go home and she’s ready to leave. She is missing lots of people. Alice tells her to have a think about it and they can talk about it later in the evening. She contemplates talking to Big Brother about it.

4:24pm: Rebecca comes to the diary room. She tells Big Brother that she doesn’t really want to be here and is missing her family and she doesn’t think that her survival mechanisms will stand up in the house. Corey is making the bread and Travis tells him to smack it. Rebecca is now crying in the diary room. She says that she almost got exciting when she found out that evictions were coming. She says she isn’t happy in the house, the lowest she has felt, and she is excited that she could be evicted. She comes out and tells Alice that Big Brother wants her to sleep on it. The other girls are ready to comfort her if they are needed.

Outside, Nobbi is speaking to Big Brother in the kombi van. Nobbi wants to join the housemate discussion at the weekly dinner. Big Brother tells him that he can’t enter the house, however there is a surprise coming his way tonight. Nobbi gets excited and wonders whether he should get dressed up!

7:02pm: Housemates have gathered for the family dinner. Nobbi is secretly watching the dinner on a mobile phone. One of the questions asks everyone whether they think Nobbi is being a pain and he should just accept his punishment. They all agree however that Nobbi has taken it like a champion and it’s time now to let him into the house.

The second question focuses on Corey. Everyone seems to think he’s been a welcome admission to the house except Terri. Even Bianca gives him a compliment.

Talk turns to food, in particular Alice’s ‘dog food’ yesterday. Alice understands that Rory’s comment was a joke, but it got to her a bit yesterday. Corey says that people shouldn’t be stealing food. Dixie seems to be the culprit, hiding tea bags and apples to eat and drink later. Dixie doesn’t think she should have to explain herself.

Nobbi gets a phone call in the kombi. He says he enjoyed watching the dinner, and he got a few insights into some housemates. He was pleased that his friends stuck up for him. Dixie lies down in the toilet and has a cry.

9:02pm: Dixie tells Rebecca that she is so close to losing it. She says she very rarely gets upset and cries. She says that Saxon went over the line.

Outside, Saxon says that angry Saxon will come back out if Dixie continues getting on his bad side. Dixie comes to the diary room, saying she wants to go home. She is sick of living with a bunch of wankers. Big Brother says he would hate to see Dixie leave over an apple. Outside the boys find a huge bug and Rory suggests that they put it in Dixie’s locker. The boys end up putting it in the girls toilet. Dixie finds it later and calls the joke pathetic.

Corey finishes the day in bed with a Mr. Bean impersonation, which is pretty good. Rebecca says, “I like you Corey, your good value.” Corey, in the Mr. Bean voice, suggests she come over and snuggles with him. Laughs all around.

Day 8

9:34am: Housemates are back in bed after completing the cleaning up task earlier in the morning. Someone is snoring, and they soon realise its Dixie. Dixie says she doesn’t snore, she says she must have farted. They tell her it’s been going on for ten minutes.

In the kitchen, Corey is baking the bread for the day. Terri is watching over him.

A little later in the day Renee is talking about going to Canada and work on the ski slopes. She says she isn’t a huge fan of the US, but wants to see the Statue of Liberty.

Back in the kitchen, Terri says “Corey, be careful of the knife.” The other housemates tell Terri to cool it, saying that the kid can clearly cut an orange. Corey comes to the diary room. He says he is more comfortable in the house today. He says that all the housemates are good and making him feel welcome. He says that Terri perhaps need to chill a bit and leave him alone a bit more.

2:29pm: Bianca is complaining about Corey. David tells her that he’s been great this morning, cooking etc. Bianca says that she did go up to meet him, but she just doesn’t like what he represented. Bianca says that he doesn’t have respect, and recalls an incident last night.

Corey is staying out of the sun cause he thinks he burns easily. He uses the F word; and Terri says, “Big Brother won’t like that.”

4:29pm: Bianca is getting her hair done by Terri. David is telling Alice about what Bianca thinks of Corey. Renee comes to the diary room. She says it’s strange to have new people in the house. She says that they look good. Outside, Dixie and Rebecca are talking. They are saying that they like the look of one of the new housemates but I can’t figure out whom. Nobbi climbs a tree and then starts imitating being a monkey. Alice and Travis are talking about Barney; Alice thinks he is very good looking. Renee says that the original guys are now being nicer because they realise they might lose friendships. Back out with Dixie, she says she is disappointed with Bianca’s behavior. They both agree that she’s not one of the nicest people in the house. Dixie also says she gets annoyed with Travis sometimes.

Over at the barbecue, Bianca says that Travis is one of her best supporters in the house, saying that everyone else seems to be ganging up on her and being unpleasant towards her.

8:21pm: Bianca is upset that Alice seems to be not talking to her over this whole Corey thing. She says that Corey doesn’t deserve her attention. Corey is called to the diary room. He is offered the requested hair straighter but only for use by himself, or chocolate and soft drinks for the whole house. Big Brother asks Corey to choose. Back in the bathroom, Bianca is so sick of this and she says she’ll lay low while he is in the house. Bianca asks Brigitte why she is applying makeup at nighttime. Brigitte says “We’re on TV!” Corey decides to go with the chocolate and soft drink option.

Bianca comes out to Nobbi, Saxon and Rory. The boys tell her not to be upset about this thing with Corey. The housemates all appreciate Corey’s sacrifice. Dixie has a coke and is in heaven.

Alice comes out and tells Renee, Dixie and Rebecca about how Corey was offered the hair straighter. She says that it’s awesome he choose to reward the house instead of himself.

12:17am: Bianca and Corey are at the table by themselves. She says she hasn’t really talked to him, but she wants to make it clear to him that she is in the house because of one main reason; she wants to contradict everything that Corey basically stands for. She says she doesn’t drink, smoke or do drugs. Corey says that he doesn’t represent anything though. Bianca says that he was portrayed as a jerk though. He understands what she means, but he says that he is his own person and he’s not really like how he is portrayed in the media. He tells her that Terri is annoying him, but he can handle it. Bianca says she wants to help him get his message across, that he isn’t the absolute ‘party boy’ that he is made out to be.

Gatecrasher special

Big Brother starts the show – telling them that they are all invited to a party. He says that since they evicted the oldest housemate, the average age of the house has dramatically decreased. He says that they are to attend a children’s party – with lots of surprises. Cue the opening credits.

Kyle and Jackie O come out and greet the audience, which is a rather large crowd. They recap the first week in the show and tell us that the housemates must be exhausted. Then they throw to a clip package of the first week in the house.

Back live, they talk about how Saxon might not be as clean cut as they first thought. They then talk about Rima’s pictures that were taken. Kyle says that ‘we’ meaning the show broke her leg. They cross live for the first time to the house.

They talk to Brigitte who says that the Sparkles disappearance was like an episode of CSI. Rima says that she has broken her left leg and is in a little bit of pain. She says she wishes she was still in the house, but she has some goodies (Coke and chips) and then shares some personal jokes with the rest of the house. She says she might well be back soon. Kyle wonders how Dixie is doing after seeing the message, and she cries a bit. The live cross to the house ends.

The hosts then move on to talk about Terri. They wonder whether she’ll get the chance to go back into the house. Kyle tells them that Corey will also gatecrash the house which receives a lot of boo’s from the audience, before going to a clip package of Rima’s first week in the house.

Back from the break, Jackie O tells us that the show in the end is a competition. She tells us that the 3 most popular people from the online auditions are to enter the house tonight. We meet Barney first, who is a volunteer surf lifesaver, swam at a national level for twelve years. He says he loves girls who love to cook, clean and are good in bed. He says he fears getting old. He says he wants to find himself in the spa with all the girls around him. Barney comes out and joins the hosts on stage. He says he is very excited. He tells the host that he hasn’t really had a girlfriend for years. He says he wants to find a female, but he says he warms to people and doesn’t go straight to the big-breasted ladies. They take a treasured item off his as well and he’s into the house as well.

Kyle wonders if the Spa Mafia will accept Barney. They cross live to the house again. They talk to Travis and all he wants to do is say hello to his girl, Jackie. He says he feels so a part of the house.

They cross to Nobbi who is at the window watching the party inside through the glass.. He looks so depressed. They tell him that Terri has probably been watching all week and wonder if he has a message for Terri. He says he does, and tells Terri to ‘Go and jam yourself!’ Kyle tells Nobbi to hang in there and they cut to a commercial break.

Back to the house live, they seem to have been sent outside and are all sitting on the lawn. Big Brother apologises for interrupting their party, but he tells the house that some people auditioned online and the three most popular haven’t even entered the house yet. He says that the three people chosen by the public pose the biggest threat to everyone in the house. He tells them that 3 more people will enter the house tonight, and they enter the house as housemates, not intruders. Big Brother tells them to say hello to Barney. Rebecca looks absolutely stoked and introduces herself by saying “Hi Barney, I’m Rebecca…what’s your name?!” Barney introduces himself to everyone else.

Back to the hosts who throw to a clip package of the second housemate, who is Nathan. He says he first got into DJ’ing at a mate’s 21st. He says he used to play a bit of competitive sports, even Chess. He says he loves Transformers. He says he loves life, but likes to look out for others as well. Nathan makes his way onto the stage. Kyle wonders why he wanted to audition. He says he wanted to be on “It’s a knockout” and Friday Night Live was the closest possible show. He says that he is single, and comes from Adelaide and has about five different jobs to make some cash. He has a trophy for his treasured item. He takes forever to make his way through the crowd on his way to the house.

Back on stage, the hosts crap on about a Twister competition for a chance to win cash. They cut to a Twister diary about people hooking up in the house. A few funny comments, but they are few and far between. Brigitte reckons that no one dislikes her. Then they have the girls all lining up complaining about her. After the break Kyle tells us that Nathan will enter the house.

Back from the break and the housemates are still getting to know Barney. However, Big Brother tells them that Nathan was voted number two and he then enters. Barney introduces himself by saying “I came in 10 minutes ago.” He says he’s from Adelaide. Back on the stage it’s time for the most popular web mate, Michael. He says he wasn’t the perfect teen growing up. He says he doesn’t do drugs, smoke or drink anymore. Thanks to being in bands he’s been lucky to have seen the world. He says he has 20,000 friends on my Space. Michael doesn’t get a stage interview, he’s sent straight into the house. He enters and introductions all round as usual. Ben notices straight away that he’s been in bands, and he says that he’s really good.

Kyle reveals that everyone is up for eviction next week; well the original 12 housemates anyway. And it’s even easier to vote this year, you simply vote to save the housemates you want to save. More info to come later. Up after the break, Corey will be on stage.

Back live in the house Ben is filling one of the new housemates in on when they got their kitchen and what else has been going on in the house over the first week. Bianca tells Nathan that they should be getting a task tomorrow, and Nobbi then tells him that he won Friday Night Live and explains the prize.

Back at the stage, Kyle gives us a clip package of Corey Worthington. It goes over his funny moments with the media. He says he loves his glasses, but he’s sweet when it comes to the ladies. He says that Australia hasn’t seen the real person that he is and that’s why he wants to go into the house. Here comes the boo’s, Corey comes onto the stage. He takes a seat and says he’s pretty nervous. He says he wants to show people what he’s really like. He says a lot of people have the wrong idea about him. Lots of booing. He says he doesn’t really have a girlfriend, he’s just looking for fun and to have some fun. Corey agrees that he will follow Big Brother’s rules and he’ll also be given a mission while he is inside the house. His treasured item is a little doll which looks crazy. They say good luck and he’s off too.

Kyle tells us that Corey is for a shock as soon as he enters the house. We go back to the house and the guys are all talking in the backyard. Michael says it’s bigger than he thought. He tells the guys that he has a girlfriend. David lets the guys know about the Spa Mafia.

Back with Kyle and Jackie, it’s time to get ready for Terri. Kyle tells us that Terri’s mission will have something to do with Corey. Commercial break.

Back on stage again, they let us have a look at some of Terri’s best moments. They bring out Terri once again. She says it’s all so bizarre. She says she was a bit upset but she expected to go. She wants to say a few things to a couple of the housemates should she go back in. Kyle wonders if she didn’t like Nobbi because he is Asian. She says that is definitely not the case. Kyle asks Terri her opinion of Corey Worthington. She says that he’s a moron. They tell her that Corey is about to walk into the house, however he is only 17 years old so he’s a minor and thus he needs a guardian. She says she would love the challenge. She will re-enter the house shortly alongside Corey.

Back in the house live, the housemates are just chatting in the backyard. Ben is still filling in Barney about the time in the house to date. Back on stage with the hosts who tell us that it’s time for them to enter. Straight back to Big Brother. “Housemates, tonight you have met your biggest threats to winning. The party is only just began. Housemates, Big Brother has a houseguest for you. Say hello to party boy Corey.” The housemates are laughing a bit. David says “Not wearing your sunnies?!” He doesn’t know how long he is staying for but he thinks 10 days. They say that he seems very nervous. Saxon takes him into the house to show him around. Back with Kyle who throws to a package explaining what the housemates think of Terri. Back to the house we go – housemates still gathered outside. Big Brother interrupts again. “How are you enjoying your party?” “Housemates, Big Brother has a predicament. At 17 years of age Corey is considered a minor.” Alice yells out “Terri”. Nobbi looks devastated when Big Brother fills him in that Terri will be returning. Nobbi says that he won’t be going near her! Terri re-enters the house! Nobbi is swearing beyond belief. He is still going off. We’ve had audio outage for 20 seconds now for some reason. He can’t be swearing that much.” Rory gives Nobbi a hug. Nobbi says that it’s so bad. Commercial break.

Back for the final segment of the night. David asks Corey if he’s talking to his parents again. He says he is. Kyle tells us about the voting. There will be no nominations; the people with the least amount of save phone votes each week will face elimination. However, the housemates will decide who will get evicted each week. The FNL winner from this week will also have a special power in regards to evictions. And that’s the end of the show. They remind us to tune into Big Mouth tomorrow night. Nobbi has just spoken to Terri by the look of it but we missed it. Dixie gives Nobbi a hug. Terri has just realised that Rima isn’t here, and Dixie fills her in. Credits start to roll.

Day 7

8:46pm: Corey has just entered the house. Nobbi wonders if he’s nervous. Soon after, Terri is launched back into the house. Nobbi says, “That’s low” over and over. Corey moves away from the noise and checks out the house. Nobbi finally says “So Terri” and Nobbi then launches into her, telling her he’s had the worse week of his life not being allowed to move around anywhere he wanted to. Terri says she used to love camping. Nobbi tells her that he isn’t a camper. Corey is still on his own checking out the house. Travis says that he’s proud of Nobbi for finally talking to Terri.

Inside, Bianca says she feels like screaming with Corey in the house. Terri says that he looks really scared though. Dixie joins in and says “Imagine if someone marries him from in here.” Outside the boys are saying that if Terri tries to boss them around they’ll have to tell her to butt out.

Nobbi fills Corey in on the kombi situation. Bianca has changed her tune on Corey and is saying that she should give the kid a chance. Saxon agrees. She talks to him from one and one. He tells her that he lives in Cranbourne with mates now. He says he doesn’t have a girlfriend, although there is this one girl. He says he has known her for a while.

Big Brother calls Terri and Corey to the diary room. Terri tells her to come and sit next to her. Outside the guys wonder if the girls like any of the new housemates. David reckons they will all try to get onto Barney. Rebecca wonders why Barney has been single for the past four years. Back in the diary room, Terri is given the rules for her mission. She must take care of Corey around the clock. If she succeeds, she will be re-instated as a housemate. Corey plays with his hair as Terri says that Corey hasn’t been a good role model for teenagers. Corey says he doesn’t see himself as a role model and he just wants to prove to Australia he’s just a normal kid.

10:03pm: Corey comes back to the diary room on his own. He asks Big Brother for a hair straighter for the house. He says it isn’t his greatest concern. He puts on his glasses. Big Brother tells him that sunglasses shouldn’t be worn in the house. He leaves the diary room.

Nobbi is in the kombi awaiting a call from Big Brother. Nobbi says his evening was ok until Terri came back in. In the backyard, others are saying they feel protective of the original housemates. Ben is with Corey in the kitchen. They are talking about Travis, and Corey wonders about his voice.

Housemates have gathered in the backyard to introduce themselves properly. Barney says he’s 33 and he hasn’t really grown up yet. He says he’s not Bobby Brady, been around Australia and the world, has done modeling, and loves challenges, thus he is here. Nathan is next, he’s 27 and says he doesn’t have a girlfriend. Corey is up next, he’s 17, loves to party, lived in Melbourne his whole life, traveled around Australia and he loves Fiji. Michael is up next and he doesn’t drink, smoke or do drugs. Terri gets up again and tells us that her mother remarried when she was 7. Brigitte asks her “Was this in the 1900’s?” Lots of laughs from the housemates. Terri left home at 16 and went to live with her grandmother, and she didn’t ever go back. While she speaks housemates seem to be nodding off to sleep. She says she has a man now and is happy.

12:53am: Barney is chatting in the kitchen with Alice. Barney explains that he only lifeguards on weekends as a voluntary measure. Brigitte on the couch says that Alice will soon be ‘Alice Brady.’

Terri and Corey come to the diary room and collect their bags. Big Brother explains that there are only four lockers so Corey and Terri will have to share. Corey is not thrilled with this, saying that he likes his own personal space. Terri tells him that we’ll work it out. Corey says that it’s not all going to fit. Terri tells him to stop fiddling with his eyebrow. Corey says that he’s using the locker and Terri will have to find somewhere else for her stuff. Corey says that they will have to try to fit everything in the one locker. Big Brother tells them to inform the other new housemates that they can collect their bags. Terri asks Corey to do something with a bag, and then says, “You didn’t have to throw it.” Corey’s reply “I didn’t mean it!”

1:46am: Housemates are in the spa. Terri comes out and they ask her where Corey is. They tell her that Corey jumped the fence by climbing the tree. He is actually in the bathroom, but Terri is unaware of this so she goes to talk to Big Brother. Big Brother tells her that she should be looking after Corey. She says she’ll go and climb the fence then. She tells Bianca and Travis, who tell her that he’s in the bathroom. When she gets there he’s hiding in the toilet, and they again convince her that he jumped the fence. She gets changed to climb the tree, and begins climbing before Bianca ruins the joke saying “I’m not giving the dumbass anymore laughs for doing something stupid.” Terri says I thought they were joking.

3:22am: Nobbi and Nathan are talking in the yard. Nobbi says that everyone is pretty good except for Terri. In the bedroom, Corey

3:45am: Big Brother tells Terri that Corey must go to bed at a reasonable hour. Big Brother says that her mission is slipping away from her. She gets up and finds Terri in the yard talking to Dixie and Nobbi. Terri says that if Corey had any consideration for her, she would go to bed. Corey says that 17 year olds don’t like going to sleep.

3:57am: A couple of the girls get up and say they will seduce him into bed. Rebecca and Brigitte come out and say that they want to talk to him. He eventually decides to go to bed.

6:11am: Big Brother has trashed the backyard. He wakes the house with an SMS message. The plasma shows a text message written in text language, which says “Gr8at party, c u later”. Nobbi sees the mess and shuts the kombi van again. Terri gets up and discovers the mess, and Ben has also seen it now as well. They find a letter. Big Brother gathers all the housemates, except Nobbi, on the couches. Ben reads that Big Brother had a party by himself after they all went to bed. If they clean the backyard in an hour, they will win a Barbecue and other items. They madly start cleaning up.

7:51am: Housemates are still cleaning and only have ten minutes left. Michael sees that they have a bread-making recipe, and also finds that all the food has gone. Housemates almost have the house looking acceptable. Rory wants to sleep. Michael says he didn’t help but he was a good supervisor. Dixie wants to speak to Big Brother. Everyone claps outside. Dixie tells Big Brother they have finished, and Big Brother tells them they have done well, but the task is a weekly task and therefore there is more to the task. Big Brother informs them they must live off the staples in the kitchen until such time when they win their reward.

Day 6

11:46am: Nobbi is still asleep. Big Brother tells him that his phone is about to ring. Rory and Renee are spooning in bed before the lights come on. Back in the combi, Nobbi says he slept pretty well. He says he has a bit of a headache. Nobbi says he took the joke of the prize for winning FNL pretty well, but he says to Big Brother that he has to let him inside soon or he’ll go insane. Nobbi goes back to sleep after the phone call.

A little later, all housemates, including Nobbi are called to the diary room. They suspect it’s to do with Rima. They thank Big Brother for the party. Big Brother tells them that Rima injured her leg during the games. X-Rays at the hospital revealed that she has a broken leg. Big Brother tells them that Rima is in good spirits, and that the hospital food is much better than that in the house. They send her a get well soon message and exit the diary room. Travis says that she’ll be back.

Dixie goes to cry in bed. Alice tries to tell her that crying is a good thing.

12:53pm: The boys tell Rory that he got some cuddles last night. He says that he really enjoyed it and it just seemed to happen. He jumped into bed, Renee was pretty far over on his side of the bed so they were just close.

Dixie comes to the diary room to talk to Big Brother. She says that she is a bit sad about Rima, and hopes that she has eaten lots outside of the house. She says that she’ll miss her smile, her laugh and her stories the most. She says that they were quite similar, and that’s why she is so upset. Dixie says that she’s a very good friend, and she wishes she had gotten to spend a bit more time with her. She doesn’t know if she’ll find another one as good in here.

Brigitte, Rory and a couple of others are sitting at the table just waiting for some food. They all seem they are absolutely starving. Pumpkin soup is served for them all. Bianca looks like she could kill someone. Rory is not impressed at all either. They all complain that it’s not a big lunch. Rory says “I waited there for an hour for pumpkin soup!”

Saxon and Rory come to the diary room to complain. They tell Big Brother that not enough food is coming in for them. Rory says that soup is an entrée; where’s the main meal? They both say that a few sandwiches for each person would be better. They try to find out what there is for breakfast tomorrow. Big Brother doesn’t comply with their request.

6:14pm: Big Brother has gathered the housemates on the couches. Big Brother tells them that they have been completing a task all week. Big Brother tells them they have to pass a test of observation. He tells them to look at the plasma screen. They see a secret kitchen and get very excited.

Big Brother calls Alice to the diary room. A very tough opening question asking what colour the beads on Rory’s hair are? Dixie gets hers right, Ben and Bianca get theirs wrong and Brigitte as well as David get theirs correct. Nobbi is called to the driver’s seat and answers his correctly, and a host of other housemates get theirs correct as well. Big Brother tells the housemates they needed 7 correct answers, and they scored 9. Big Brother tells them they have passed the task and will receive a new kitchen. He sends them to the garden immediately. Nobbi has mixed feelings; he says it’s another place for people to hang out instead of the backyard. He says he is doing it really tough; he says he’s never been picked on so much.

Big Brother tells all the housemates, except Nobbi, to enjoy the new kitchen. Everyone loves the new place while Nobbi walks around the backyard bored out of the brain.

8:12pm: Bianca is making garlic bread and already getting pissed off that everyone keeps taking the bread. David says he loves cooking but he’s staying well away for a bit and is just going to watch the fireworks.

The boys are out cooking on the barbecue and letting the girls have the kitchen. The boys have a nice name for Alice, “Queen Bee” and “Mother Duck”. David and Saxon have gone to the diary room saying that they are going to stay well away from the cooking arguments for a while.

Ben says that the boys should worry about lunch, and the girls can organize dinner. Everyone agrees, and they say that everyone can fend for themselves at breakfast. Travis comes out to the barbecue and tells everyone that he’s a BBQ virgin. They give him the tongs!

The housemates have finally sat down for their first meal prepared by themselves. Afterwards, Bianca comes to the diary room. She says it was frustrating that everyone kept stealing her food that she was preparing even when it wasn’t even ready. She says she is really excited about the kitchen however.

9:31pm: Most of the boys are inside the combi van. They are moving Sparkles back into the house. Rory takes it back into the house and puts it in Dixie’s locker. Dixie comes to the diary room. She says she loves the new kitchen. She says that there will probably be a few arguments though. She says that Bianca loves food and she’ll kill us to get to her food!

Brigitte is checking out the lockers again in a last ditched effort and finally finds Sparkles in Dixie’s locker. Bianca comes and asks her where. Other girls come in, including Dixie. Dixie says “Why would I take it?” The girls think that Big Brother put it back in the lockers while they were in the kitchen checking it out.

At bedtime, Brigitte settles down with Sparkles. Big Brother says “Goodnight Princess Sparkles.”

Day 5 FNL

The fourth season of FNL kicked off with an “Out Of This World” theme. Starting the theme of predictibility nice and early this season, Mike Goldman opened the show with the exact same joke he make on 2007’s FNL premiere, saying they’ve been gone 9 months and asking if Bree’s had a baby. She hasn’t. A bit more about the hosts private lives. The boys give Bree crap about dating Bodie. Congratulations to Fitzy on his wedding.

As the action starts the housemates show up in the yard in green tights and silver skirts. BB tells each housemate they each have to sit on a slime-filled balloon with the last to pop their balloon out of the games before it even starts. After all the HMs burst their balloons (Rima loses), BB tells them he was just joking and hands out towels for them “to dry Uranus”. BB also announces that this year there will be only one prize for winning FNL – $20,000 cash.

We’re then introduced to the first of a cavalcade of stupid new FNL characters. Fitzy’s new character is introduced as Bryce Fitzberg, a former US Navy Seal turned private eye who predicts that Saxon will win because of his inside knowledge of the alien world. Bree asks what happened to Madam Fitzy to which Fitzy replies “She died… of rabies”

Back in the arena the first game is standing on a platform which slowly moves from horizontal to vertical. The blokes are up first and early losers are Nobbi, who took out Ben on his way out. In the end it was a photo finish with Saxon winning by a fraction of a second. When it comes to the girl’s turn Rima was first to slide down the wall while Renee and Alice held out for an impressive spell before Alice finally emerges as the winner.

As the winners, Alice and Saxon get to choose the teams for round 2 with an alternate pick. Alice selects Travis (who exclaims “Picked first? This is so not like school!”), Rebecca, Rory, Dixie and finally Bianca. Saxon chose Nobbi, Renee, Ben, David and was left with Brigitte. Rima wasn’t included in the selections due to a toe injury in round 1.

The second round is “Space Invaders” which requires one team to hop along an obstacle course one-by-one holding a giant star while the other team operate rows of “space junk” to knock the players down. Alice’s team goes first and make a good run of it. Watching Bianca hopping really makes you understand why she calls her breasts a curse. Alice’s team complete the course in 2:30. Between heats, another of FNL’s ridiculous new characters is revealed. This time it’s Nigel the Ninja.

Saxon’s team picks up the usual second team advantage and completes the course in 1:18, ending the game for the opposing team. BB tells Saxon’s team to split into 2 evenly-weighted teams and Brigitte quickly grabs Nobbi and Saxon, leaving David, Renee and Ben to team up against them.

The third game is Alien v Predator. The first team (the Aliens) are in individual foam suits and have to steal a ‘funky dreadlock’ from the second team who are all bundled together in one big foam suit (The Predator). First to compete are David, Renee and Ben who manage to flog all the dreadlocks in 0:55. Despite Predator being able to hold Saxon off for a little while Brigitte, Nobbi and Saxon come through with the hair in 0:50.

In true FNL form it’s then time for a Second Chance Round with all the eliminated housemates racing along a slippery tarp on their butts. Alice is a clear winner and earns her way back into the games. BB again says he needs two equally weighted teams and Saxon jumps on Alice leaving Nobby to pair up with Brigitte.

To fill time we’re introduced to yet another stupid FNL character, Jim Shorts, who’s played my Mike Goldman and reads us the news from the week in an annoying voice.

Round four involves one housemate pedalling a spaceship along a tight-rope while their partner clings onto the bottom and grabs balloons they pass along the way. Things go pear-shaped quickly when Saxon gets a bit too turned on by the space ship idea and speeds off along the tight-rope and tips the whole contraption over confusing the hosts, the ninjas and Big Brother in the process. Eventually they cut to a break and come back to announce Saxon and Alice have been disqualified. BB announces this by saying “Saxon, as the pilot your job was only to drive the space ship. You collected orbiting planets and stars. You also managed to break Big Brother’s aircraft”.

While setting up for the final game they play a game on stage which they dub “Are You Smarter Than A Bree Amer?” They pull some dude called Phil the Council Worker out of the crowd and get him to compete against Bree in a trivia game on the topic of astronomy. When the guy easily wins it’s revealed he is in fact a space enthusiast in his spare time.

At this point the stupid characters reach a disgusting level with a parody of a soap opera called “The Bald and the Beautiful… Oh and Fitzy”.

The final round was a barefoot race on an obstacle course. Brigitte and Nobbi were required to collect slime from one end of a tarp and transport it to the other end. In three minutes Brigitte managed to collect 2.45Kg but was beaten by Nobbi who collected 4.15Kg. After Nobbi is awarded with his trophy, Big Brother wishes David a happy birthday and announces a party is waiting in the BB house.

The FNL hosts reveal that Nobbi broke the rules earlier today by dressing up as David and entering the house. BB calls Saxon to the Diary Room and asks him to deliver Nobbi’s prize to him – $20,000 Zimbabwe dollars. Nobbi is called to the Kombi Diary Room and is informed by BB that the current exchange rate from Zimbabwe dollars to Australian dollars is 20,000:1 and encourages him to spend his money wisely.
